How to Change Your Profile Theme
2 min read ยท Updated
Your theme sets the overall look of your page: its colours, fonts, block shapes and background, all at once. Every preset theme is available on every plan.
Change your theme
Log in, open My Pages and click the page you want to edit
Click Customize
Stay on the Themes tab and scroll the collections
Click any theme to preview it on your own page
Save when you are happy
Previewing is non-destructive. Nothing is live until you save, so you can try as many as you like.
What a theme changes
Applying a theme sets everything in the Advanced categories at once. After that you can adjust any of them individually.
Header. Your profile image, name and bio, including sizes and alignment.
Social Icons. Their shape, colour and where they sit on the page.
Block Style. Block background, border, corners, padding and button colour.
Text. The page font and the text colours.
Background. Page colour or media, with separate desktop settings.
Colors. Every colour on the page in one place.
Branding. The hoo.be footer on your page.
Customising beyond a theme
Available on: Pro, Premium
Presets are free. Changing the individual settings underneath them, and uploading your own background or profile media, needs Pro or Premium. On a free plan you can preview those controls but not save them.
A good approach is to pick the preset closest to what you want first, then adjust. Starting from a theme means every colour already works together.
Common questions
Will changing theme delete my links?
No. A theme only changes how your page looks. Your links, blocks and content are untouched.
Can I go back to how it was?
Before saving, yes, just pick your previous theme. After saving there is no undo, so if you have a look you like, note which theme it was before experimenting.
Do themes look the same on desktop?
Mostly, but the background has its own desktop settings, so a page can use one background on mobile and another on a wider screen.
I changed a colour and the theme no longer matches.
Individual settings override the theme. Re-applying the theme resets them.
📢 Tip: Most visitors arrive on a phone. Check the mobile preview before you save, not the desktop one.
