How to View and Manage Your Analytics

4 min read · Updated

Analytics shows how your hoo.be page is performing: how many people visit, what they click, and where they come from.

Where to find it

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Click Analytics in the sidebar

  3. Pick a tab, then set the date range in the top right

Page Links Shop
Page Views
12,480
Page Clicks

CTR %

Three tabs across the top, and the headline numbers for whichever date range you pick.

The three tabs

  • Page. Views, clicks and where your visitors come from.

  • Links. How each individual link performs, and how people reached it.

  • Shop. Only appears if the Shop tab is switched on for your page.

The Page tab

Three headline numbers for the range you picked:

  • Page Views. How many times your page was loaded.

  • Page Clicks. Taps on anything on your page.

  • CTR %. Clicks divided by views, so how often a visit turns into a tap.

Below them is a trend chart. Views and clicks are plotted together so you can see whether a spike in traffic actually turned into taps.

Page ViewsPage Clicks
Page views against page clicks over the selected range.

Under the chart are four breakdowns of who your visitors are. These need Pro or Premium.

Traffic Sources

Which platform your visitors arrived from. Anyone whose browser sent no referrer is grouped as Direct.

SourceViews
Instagram6,21049.8%
TikTok3,10824.9%
Direct1,90915.3%
Facebook1,25310.0%
Sources are counted in views on this tab.

Devices

Mobile against desktop, as a share of your total.

12,480Total Views
Mobile11,39491.3%
Desktop1,0868.7%
Most link in bio traffic is mobile. A desktop share this low is normal.

Top Countries and Top Cities

Two separate tables, so you can see the country mix and then narrow to the cities inside it.

Top Countries
United States7,26358.2%
United Kingdom1,42311.4%
Canada9867.9%
Australia6365.1%
Top Cities
Los Angeles1,41811.4%
New York1,2059.7%
London7425.9%
Toronto4984.0%
Useful for timing posts and for telling brands where your audience is.

On the free plan you still get the three headline numbers and the chart. The breakdown cards show an upgrade prompt in place of the data.

This tab splits your clicks by how people got to the link:

  • Page Clicks. Someone tapped the link on your page.

  • Direct Clicks. Someone opened the link's direct link and skipped your page.

  • Page Redirects. Someone hit your page while a redirect link was active and got sent on.

Those three numbers are visible on every plan. The per-link table underneath, which ranks every link and opens a detail view for each one, needs Pro or Premium.

Opening a single link

Click any row in the links table to open that link on its own. You get the same three click types, its own trend chart, and its own Traffic Sources, Devices, Top Countries and Top Cities. Counted in clicks rather than views, since a link has no views of its own.

This is the quickest way to tell whether one campaign worked, rather than reading it off your page totals.

For more on the three click types, see How to Use Direct Links and Redirect Links.

Date ranges

The selector in the top right sets the period for whichever tab you are on. Which options you get depends on your plan.

Every plan
7 days 30 days
Pro and Premium Pro
90 days All time Custom range

If you are on a free plan and pick a longer range, the view falls back to one you can use.

Tips and contacts moved

Tips and collected contacts used to sit in Analytics. They now live under Audience in the sidebar:

  • Audience › Tips for tip earnings and counts

  • Audience › Contacts for emails and phone numbers collected from your page

Common questions

Why do my numbers look lower than the platform I posted on?

Those platforms count taps on the link. hoo.be counts page loads that actually completed. People who tap and close before the page loads show in their number and not in yours.

Can my CTR be over 100%?

Yes. One visitor can click several links in a single visit, so clicks can exceed views.

Do direct links show up here?

Yes, as Direct Clicks on the Links tab. They do not appear in Page Views, because the visitor never loads your page.

I do not see the Shop tab.

The Shop tab only appears once the Shop is switched on for your page. If you want it, contact support.

Is this the same as my pixel data?

No. hoo.be analytics are measured by hoo.be. Pixels send data to Meta, TikTok or Google Analytics, and the numbers there will not match exactly because each platform counts differently.

📢 Tip: Check Traffic Sources before you change your page. If most of your visitors arrive from one platform, write your page for that audience rather than for everyone.
